Every year millions of people visit the national parks that are located throughout the country. Many of these parks are just a few minutes from their front door, but in other cases, they have to travel awhile to get to the park they have chosen. Parks are listed in order of popularity. Some of the most popular parks are:

Arches National Park, Utah– Nestled in the southwest corner of Utah is one of the most popular parks in the country, and that’s for good reason. The vast majority of the park is made up of Arches, formed by sandstone and granite quarries that were in full working order as recently as the early 1900’s. There are over 800 miles of rugged wilderness to trek through, many of which can only be accessed on foot. There are several rest areas along the way, and the nightlife is moderate with plenty of restaurants and a Bookstore and coffee shop for those who may be interested in reading a book or getting a map. If you’re visiting in the summer, daylight shines up nearly 100 miles of the park, but in the winter, light penetration is reduced to less than 30 hours.

Glacier Bay National Park, Alaska– Has water! Lots of water! From thearbcient to the future, the glacial waters of Glacier bay span three time zones and cover more than 24,000 square miles. The park offers excellent scenery, with towering mountains and valley lined with towns made from ice. You’ll find touring, fishing, shopping and several different organizations that can host you.

Great Smoky National Park, Tennessee– When one thinks of the Smoky Mountains, images of mountains filled with fine, white smoke are conjured up. The Great Smokey Mountains are truly a natural wonder in the Western North Carolina area. The hike to the summit of Mount Mitchell, the highest peak in the park, is clearly worth the trip for its breathtaking views.

Three lakes in Glacier Park, Montana –  features the flock of millions of iridescent fish that change its color every two hours as they change water levels. You’ll also see coworkers, lovers and colleagues cooped up in boats with umbrellas out on the cool lakes. Canoeists and kayakers share the water with these adventurous souls, joining a community of like-minded folks that surely must stop at least once.

Denali National Park– See breathtaking views in the great Smoky Mountains of Alaska. The Last Frontier offers panoramic views of waterfalls and ice-storms that are simply unforgettable. There is also the opportunity to see Alaska’s wildlife, including the endangered Bristol Bay Murrelet,

Kenai National Park– The Kenai area has a wide variety of terrain, including beaches, hills, river valleys and deep valleys. The park incorporates the date of the glaciers leaving the land dioxide rich, thus ensuring that the area will soon be depopulated.

Coastal Section of Alaska – The second largest population of salmon streams in the world, this area offers underwater scenery that is nothing short of stunning.  My – employment attorney Palm Beach Gardens showed me Mayau is the center of your coastline, but there are plenty of other towns and cities to imbibe the culture. The wave action on your area is nothing short of incredible.

There is no way to ride a bus or train around Alaska that does not include the magnificent Northern Lights. There are a denomination of beaches that have become world famous, such as Dutch Village, Bellevue and Juneau. The shoreline changes every season, becoming friendlier to visitors who dock there. Anchorage has lots of sunny days, but snowy winters are not ideal for ski season. Thus, visit plenty of times in the year to enjoy this activity. When the Sun goes down, the wild dollars start to twinkle. Obviously, this is a yearly event. Anchorage is a lodging fit for a prince, with most of it on the Strip. The rodeo might not be quite what you are looking for, but there is a lot going on, 24/7.

If Cinderella is watching over your shoulder, you will find that there is a lot to be done in Disney World, along with Epcot. Every Disney World vacation is a unique experience, but somehow, this one holds a little bit more charm than the next. Some people even have their own favorite Disney World treats.

Hunny Whitewater rafting in the Florida Keys is as good as it gets. Nice beaches and a warm Florida sun: What more could anyone ask for?
